Event description

Golden Years is the newest series of paintings by Dawid Czycz. They are a painted story about our times, an epoch of an excess of virtual stimuli and real threats. About a world flooded with colourful light from LED screens, in which the ability to quickly react to fast news became essential to survive. They are also a fantasy of our globalized pop culture. It is an artistic look at Zetgeist, a modern day lifestyle and, probably, at our future 20s.

Welcome to the Golden Years.

Gallery description

We aim to put ourselves on the map of Cracow’s art institutions, while at the same time working and connecting with other institutions and communities in Poland and abroad. We’re equally interested in art that is focused on aesthetics and in the one trying to be the voice in social and political discussions. We want to cooperate with the young and the old generations of creators, building a full, divergent story about modern times, not only about modern art.
