In this year’s edition of Cracow Art Week: Krakers, van Rij Gallery will present the “An Artist is a Mirror” exhibition, works by Paweł Orłowski and Natalia Rybka. Two artists, sculpture and painting, two different points of view, two different artistic expressions. Sculptures by Paweł Orłowski and paintings by Natalia Rybka, although so different in terms of subject matter and the topics they tackle, have a common goal: they are a voice in the discourse about the most important human values ​​that cannot fail.

Van Rij Gallery was founded in 2012. It is run by art historian and exhibition curator Katarzyna Rij. The head office of the Gallery is the post-industrial space of the old porcelain factory in Ćmielów. Since 2015, the gallery also has a branch in Cracow. The Van Rij Gallery represents artists whose works combine tradition with modernity, pre-war craftsmanship with contemporary art trends. We put emphasis on modernity and innovation, working with creators who experiment with new techniques, materials and boldly take up social and cultural topics. We belong to SAiMP and CINOA.
