Can they measure up to the popularity created by show-business of the so-called stars? We know that the need for art is eternal and we believe in humanism. However, we see a gradual decrease in the importance of the individual in a digitally managed society. Don’t most of us – contemporary artists – hide their works in a drawer? Zalubowski Gallery was founded in 2002 by Małgorzata Maj and Rafał Zalubowski. Zalubowski Gallery together with Zalubowski School of Drawing is the organizer of the following events: exhibitions, lectures, workshops, confrontations. In terms of art promotion, the gallery is of a non-commercial nature. In principle, it supports the activities of the art school, showing valuable artistic phenomena in its space. Most of the Gallery’s events are related to the so-called Kraków School of Graphics, focusing on the media related to drawing and graphics.
