Event description
On this exhibition, we will see 20 original projects by Roman Cieślewicz, created in the fifties and the sixties. Deriving from Lviv, Cieślewicz gained artistic education in Cracow and then, after few years in Warsaw settled in Paris, where he became the artistic director of the ‘Elle’ weekly, cooperated with ‘Vogue’ magazine and the Panique group, formed by Roland Topor. He had more than a hundred individual exhibitions of graphic, photomontage, poster, and photography, as well as taking part in many presentations of artistic posters all over the world.
Gallery description
We exist since 2004, promoting artists, events and trends in Polish art of the XXth century, focusing mainly on the 50s and the 60s. We are recently expanding the scultpure section, which puts us among the leading galleries handling this segment of art.
