Description
The exhibition will be an attempt to define the artist’s identity while creating depersonalized conditions. The artists will join the exhibition as a “multitude” of indefinite individuals with the intention of dealing with the same theme, which will be the ambiguous “Self-portrait – This is not a Self-portrait”. We hope that only the creative process will reveal the potential of their individuality and personality, as well as liberate them from the “multitude” mentioned in the title. The exhibition will contain a list of authors and the works will not be signed, but will be marked with the randomly selected number.

Zalubowski Gallery was founded in 2002 by Małgorzata Maj and Rafał Zalubowski. Zalubowski Gallery together with Zalubowski School of Drawing is the organizer of the following events: exhibitions, lectures, workshops, confrontations. In terms of art promotion, the gallery is of a non-commercial nature. In principle, it supports the activities of the art school, showing valuable artistic phenomena in its space. Most of the Gallery’s events are related to the so-called Kraków School of Graphics, focusing on the media related to drawing and graphics.
