The title of the planned exhibition, “Fortress”, is a reference to the symbolic meaning of art as a defensive structure for both artists, a kind of escape into a world of security offered by artistic expression and detached from real struggles. Into a world that, transformed by the artists’ imagination, allows you to release the emotions that accompany everyday life. The exhibition is the result of conversations about strength and powerlessness, about fighting and giving up, about the incomprehensible, about growing up artistically and about the peace that can be achieved through trust in art.

The RG29 Studio is a creative space of two artists – Julia Jarża and Weronika Szmuc, based in the attic of a tenement house at 29 Main Square, a space for dialogue and artistic meetings and, occasionally, exhibition space.
