Description
Friedrich Albert Klein (1898-1990) was a Dutch painter known in the Netherlands as Frits Klein and in France (where he spent most of his life) as Fred Klein. The nudes, portraits, still life and scenes of motherhood presented at the exhibition were created in the 1920s. Several drawings show a woman breastfeeding an infant. These are sketches for an oil painting of the artist’s wife with their son Yves. Yves Klein will later become a world-famous artist who, despite his short life, will permanently enter the history of contemporary art.

We have been operating continuously since 2004. We promote artists, events, trends in Polish art of the 20th century, with particular emphasis on the 1950s and 1960s. In recent years we have been intensively developing the sculpture section, which puts us at the forefront of galleries dealing with this kind of art.
