Event description

On the occasion of the release of the third part of ‘Dogs’ by W.Pasikowski, a curatorial project with the same title tries to deal with concepts of safety and obedience in the context of current socio-political situation of ‘renewed, democratic Republic of Poland’. Artists’ attention, while focusing around cinematic fiction enters a relationship with reality which is now undergoing radical identity processes. The weight of those changes reminds the changes that were happening 30 years ago, while the temperature of the works proves that the story is not over.

Gallery description

Gallery functioning by the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow presents a very wide spectrum of topics and means of artistic expression. Not limiting itself to just ‘faculty’ exhibitions, the gallery had the honor to welcome creators from Poland and Europe. The ambition of Dominik Stanisławski, the care taker of the gallery, is to expand the platform so it supports plastic, performative and musical statements.
