DESCRIPTION

This spring, over soup, a passive and subordinated to consumption man, a “water alien” and a “kind Terminator” will fight for survival. Each of the characters is a physical representation of the leading themes of the artists’ work – the body as a product of oppressive consumerism, hydrofeminism and the phenomenon of artificial intelligence. Together, Anna Zuzela, Jakub Sikorski and Julia Szczerbowska will create a movie in which the characters will sit down at a set table and, during the mundane activity of eating dinner, will conduct a debate on the climate crisis.

GALLERY INFO

Shefter Gallery is a place open to a variety of creative personalities, and not only to specific artistic activities and genres. We co-create exhibitions with artists of different generations and environments, thus weaving a multi-threaded story about contemporary art. We are equally interested in art focusing on its aesthetic aspects, as well as art that tries to be a voice in social and political discussions. We want to enter the map of Cracow art institutions, while working and connecting with institutions and environments in Poland and around the world.
