Exhibition open

14-17.05.2023, 11 am – 5 pm (exhibition in progress)

The exhibition is a response to the overwhelming crisis. Reality requires restraint from us, which is why the idea of the exhibition is based on the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) and DIWO (Do-It-With-Others) approach, which aims at collective actions related to compassion and shared experience. All the works at the exhibition will be created from ready-made works in the process of artistic “recycling” of one’s own creation or property, and some of them during workshops with human and non-human persons living in Cracow.

The Zbaraski Palace, more often called the Potocki Palace, accumulates the true genius loci of Cracow. Since 2020, the Potocki Palace has become a real cluster for new thinking about the culture of Cracow, a place of cooperation and “cooperation instead of competition” – the main slogan of the Culture Development Program until 2030. The Potocki Palace is now teeming with life, music, literature, events from the world of intermedia, visual arts and meetings networking various environments. It is a meeting place with the audience and guests of important festivals, and a common place for the literary community. The achievements of the Scholarship holders of the City of Cracow and artists associated with the city are presented here. The palace becomes a showcase of Cracow – a city of European culture, and at the same time a place of daily work for many environments.
