Event description
A display of posters created by a controversial, based in Warsaw artist Wojciech Korkuć will be a presentation of several series of placards about history, politics, and customs. As Mieczysław Wasilewski wrote about Korkuć: ‘Wojtek Korkuć. Once a student of my workshop at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Loud, stubborn and combative. A geyser of ideas, a volcano of energy. An enthusiast and creator of the involved poster. A rare specimen. Today he’s the same. Thanks to his energy and passion we can see great placards not only in galleries in Warsaw. Vivat Korek!’.
