The Krakauer Haus in Nuremberg is the only institution of the City of Cracow outside the country. The House’s mission is to strengthen the bond between Poland and Germany by offering projects promoting the partner city of Cracow. Under it’s roof you’ll find institutions that give the Nuremberg audience the opportunity to meet the rich cultural life of Cracow and its tourist attractions such as the Culture Center at the Cracow House (Krakauer House), the Cracow Tower Association (Krakauer Turm Verein), the German-Polish Society in Franconia (Deutsch-Polnische Gesellschaft in Franken) and the travel agency Reisebüro “Polenreisen”. The activities of the Cracow House include, among others organizing music concerts, exhibitions and art vernissages as well as literary lectures and discussion panels.
As part of cooperation with Cracow Art Week KRAKERS, the Krakauer Haus in Nuremberg will present the Zauberberg project by Róża Duda and Michał Soi. The event belonging to the Cracow Art Week Krakow KRAKERS partnership program will allow the inhabitants of Nuremberg to symbolically participate in Cracow’s art week and familiarize themselves with the artistic achievements of this Cracow’s duo for the first time.
