The Family exhibition is a response to the issue of the polarization of the family and the return to close relationships in spite of adversity. The artist who experienced her parents’ divorce in childhood and loneliness as a mature person creates a new family through an artistic project. She offered the family members found after many years to become her models. Family is a series of 21 works. The presented portraits are printed on a grosgrain weave material. The material is not hemmed, fraying sides refer to the warp and weft of intertwined fates of people.

ZPAF Gallery / Zpafgallery is a gallery of the Cracow’s Chapter of the Association of Polish Photographers. We continue the traditions of the Association, which dates back to 1947. The gallery presents the work of ZPAF artists and those whose work we consider important. We are interested in the comprehensive development of photographic creativity, including new forms of recording and communication.
