The unbearable melancholy of detail or unsettlement exhibition is a statement by an artist who is strongly affected by the war in Ukraine, the COVID-19 pandemic and social isolation, climate and civilization threats. It is a philosophical treatise on HOME “written” through photography, video and space arrangement. Its theme is the tension between a sense of familiarity and rootedness and the bizarre and alienation. It is an affirmation of life and daily existence and a testimony to the fear of losing them.

Shefter Gallery is a place open to a variety of creative personalities, and not only to specific artistic activities and genres. We co-create exhibitions with artists of different generations and environments, thus weaving a multi-threaded story about contemporary art.
