Landscape is one of the basic painting themes and a way of referring to the surroundings. Reflection on painting practice turned into a reflection on space as such. Accumulations of meanings, traces, fragmentation and chaos in the visuality of contemporary spaces provoke ordering or a kind of archaeology. A sign, a symbol, images and their “virtuality” (in the non-digital sense) create successive realities that are governed by different gravity.
