DESCRIPTION

The exhibition will feature original works by students of the State School of Arts and Crafts in Cracow (Staatliche Kunstgewerbeschule Krakau) – established by the German occupation authorities to replace the closed Academy of Fine Arts. In addition to works by Jerzy Nowosielski, Adam Hoffmann, Jerzy Skarżyński, Ewa Kierska, Jerzy Kujawski, Janina Kraupe, Jerzy Panek, it will also be possible to see documents and photographs related to the history of this institution.

GALLERY INFO

We have been operating continuously since 2004. We promote artists, events, trends in Polish art of the 20th century, with particular emphasis on the 1950s and 1960s. In recent years we have been intensively developing the sculpture section, which puts us at the forefront of galleries dealing with this kind of art. Our documentation department owns, among others, archives of Stanisław Grabowski, Mieczysław Janikowski, Aleksander Henisz, Hanna Rudzka-Cybis, Ewa Kierska, Adam Hoffmann, Tadeusz Łodziana.
