Event description
Thanks to a grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage within the ‘Culture online’ project, we would like to present a GALLERY-MUSEUM, designed in VR (for VR goggles Oculus Quest) and dedicated to the young generation of artists from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. The idea came to be in the face of new challenges introduced to our world by the pandemic. VR will give our guests an impression of complete immersion, allowing for physical, undistinguishable presence in the virtual space, including the ability to move and fully interact with painting, graphics and sculpture.
Gallery description
The Zofia Weiss Gallery is located in Cracow’s Old Town, about 150m from the Main Market Square. It occupies the space in a historic building at 12 Sławkowska street, a place associated with art and exhibitions for almost 100 years. The focus of the Gallery is promoting Polish artists of the young and the middle generation, originating from Cracow and connected to the Academy of Fine Arts. It also organizes individual and collective exhibitions and assists in multiple publications.
