AMG’s entire writing and visual work is a downright clinical example of the use of personal and autobiographical themes, which, artistically processed, lead to liberating self-discovery and carry an emancipatory message, not devoid of dreamlike qualities after all. The “Getting lost” project is a unique result of a specific field study, a critical self-anthropology that shows how, at the intersection of different cultures and distinct personalities, intimacy is born, all-consuming, like a crazy dream.
