LETO, które istnieje od 2007 roku, jest jedną z najważniejszych galerii prywatnych na polskiej scenie sztuki współczesnej. Dzięki niekonwencjonalnej perspektywie i unikalnym wyborom założycielki, Marty Kołakowskiej, galeria stała się platformą dla współpracy, edukacji oraz promocji sztuki generacji artystów, z których większość kształtowała się po transformacji ustrojowej w 1989 roku. Ich prace znamionuje wyrazista ekspresja, którą często można określić jako brutalną lub surową. Jedną z najważniejszych wartości, jaką udało się wypracować przez ponad dekadę istnienia LETO, jest społeczność, która wytworzyła się wokół galerii. Naszym celem jest budowanie silnych więzi z ludźmi i poczucie integralności w każdym naszym projekcie.

LETO, which has been in existence since 2007, is one of the most important private galleries in the Polish contemporary art scene. Thanks to the unconventional perspective and unique choices of its founder, Marta Kołakowska, the gallery has become a platform for collaboration, education and promotion of the art of a generation of artists, most of whom were formed after the political transformation in 1989. Their works are marked by a distinct expression, which can often be described as brutal or raw. One of the most important values that LETO has developed over more than a decade of existence is the community that has formed around the gallery. Our goal is to build strong ties with people and a sense of integrity in each of our projects.
