Peter Bogatka: I’ve been traumatized ever since I was a child and found my toys in the trash, which my father had thrown away because I hadn’t cleaned my room. To this day, I still go through the trash looking for „my toys.” I collect them all, throw away many, keep others, analyze them, add them, combine them, and create them.
Viola Caldeo: When creating sculptures, she uses her own technique, developed over the years. She uses various materials, including waste products of our civilization that usually end up in the trash, and combines them with the delicacy of plaster, papier-mâché, and jute.

The studio has been operating since 1998 in the former Salt Warehouse in Zabłocie. It was one of the first studios in this building. This year, I invited an artist from Warsaw who works in painting and sculpture, and I think she perfectly fits this year’s theme of KRAKERS, and my works.
